Description
Don’t be deceived by appearances. Middleton Hall is gorgeous and the surroundings are a tonic, but you’ll still be fed and looked after exclusively by us, and it’s possible to come for no more than it costs to come and sleep in a dormitory at Mowden! We earn significantly less from these events, because we’re doing our best not to pass on the whole cost of such a beautiful setting, making Middleton our best value destinations of all. And we go and walk the same Bamburgh to Craster stretch of coast and use the same brilliant Ship Inn pubs as when we used run events at Springhill Farm. There are lots of twin rooms for friends too. Everything but the gorgeous house (reputedly the second house in England to get electricity after Cragside, also Northumberland!) is as down to earth as always.
Last year, the grounds proved a great place for spotting all wildlife including deer, heron and even the northern lights!
START: Access on site is from 3pm on the Friday. Arrival window in which you won’t miss anything key is 3-5pm.
FINISH: Event closes midday on Sunday.
Accommodation includes rooms in Middleton Hall itself, plus rooms in other properties within the gardens, including The Coach House, Lake Cottage, the newly built Otter’s Cove with its striking lakeside view, and The Folly, a very romantic and unique place just for two.
